Pastors Ed and Barb Leanza began their individual ministry journeys in rural Irondale, Ohio. Pastor Ed answered God’s call to teen ministry in the late 1980s, first sensing that call through Scripture. Pastor Barb answered God’s call to ministry earlier as she discerned the Spirit leading her to help the Church become what Christ intended. Pastor Ed served for 23 years in youth ministry, while Pastor Barb served in key leadership roles including teaching, church board leadership, and children’s and youth ministry prior to their shared pastoral leadership at CCNaz beginning in 2017. Together, Pastors Ed and Barb are passionate about seeing lives transformed through the truth of God’s love and serving the families of CCNaz. 

Pastor Cavin Downey grew up in the Church of the Nazarene. He answered God’s call to pastoral ministry in 2004, which he had first sensed as a teen. He has worked with children most of his adult life and serves with a deep understanding of the importance of investing in the next generation. Cavin and his wife of 33 years, Mandy, are the parents of two adult children and are grandparents of one, with another on the way, which further fuels their heart for children and families. Mandy has faithfully supported him throughout his ministry. Together, Cavin and Mandy are passionate about discipling children and serving the families of CCNaz.
