Sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ !!

Children Ministries

Teaching children has never been more challenging. This generation of children have different needs, interest and values. That means our methods and our commitment to understand this generation must be a priority. Inspiration and creativity is vital to keep you on track.

Our thirty plus years in children's ministry has taught us the value of networking with other children's leaders and to establish priorities that produce Godly character rather than glorified entertainment.

Sunday Children’s Church

Children’s Church is each Sunday during the 11:00 a.m. Worship Service. We welcome children ages 5 through 7th grade to join us.
Each month we focus on different bible verse and a Kids question. An example of our question is: "How does God Help a Kid Like Me Live for Him!”.

The lessons center on the bible verse and could include any of the following activities:
  • A play
  • A story
  • A game
  • A craft
  • Singing
Each child receives a colored 2 sided insert with the lesson. This insert might have a game that we can all play together for a prize or a word search or it might ask questions where the children can write the answer right on the sheet.  This allows them to remember what they have learned each week and also to share what they have learned with their family.
Each week is exciting and fun for all!!!

Caravan is a scouting, or kids’ club, type of program that typically meets every Wednesday night. Children are assigned to one of the three major groups – Searchers (first and second graders), Explorers (third and fourth graders), or Adventurers (fifth and sixth graders) – according to their grade in school.
Each group is under the direction of one or more adult leaders who are called “guides.”  Badges are awarded as part of this program.
And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men” (Luke 2:52)
The Caravan ministry exists to help elementary-age children become more like Jesus by encouraging their growth in the four specific areas mentioned in Luke 2:52: mental (wisdom), physical (stature), spiritual (favor with God), and social (favor with men).
Caravan is a time for children to learn how they can grow in all areas of their lives. It also helps children develop an appreciation for and understanding of Nazarene heritage and beliefs.
